En a\u00f1os recientes, y en paralelo a su contribuci\u00f3n apopt\u00f3tica, se les han asignado nuevas funciones que parad\u00f3jicamente modulan aspectos esenciales de las c\u00e9lulas como la proliferaci\u00f3n, diferenciaci\u00f3n, migraci\u00f3n, etc. A diferencia de casi todo lo relacionado con apoptosis, la implementaci\u00f3n y regulaci\u00f3n funciones no apopt\u00f3ticas es poco conocida a nivel molecular. En el laboratorio tenemos inter\u00e9s en ampliar nuestra comprensi\u00f3n b\u00e1sica sobre la biolog\u00eda de las caspasas y c\u00f3mo influyen no s\u00f3lo a programas de desarrollo espec\u00edficos, sino tambi\u00e9n a la iniciaci\u00f3n y progresi\u00f3n de ciertas enfermedades. Considerando la naturaleza enzim\u00e1tica de las caspasas, este conocieminto tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda facilitar su uso con fines terap\u00e9uticos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>REQUERIMIENTOS<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; Grado en Medicina, Biolog\u00eda, Biotecnolog\u00eda, Farmacia, o relacionado.<br \/>\n&#8211; M\u00e1ster finalizado o en v\u00edas de terminarse en el \u00e1rea de Biomedicina antes de Septiembre de 2025.<br \/>\n&#8211; Candidatos altamente motivados y con un buen expediente acad\u00e9mico (\u2265 8,5) para la realizaci\u00f3n del doctorado.<\/p>\n<p>El candidato ideal debe tener capacidad para trabajar y razonar de forma independiente en un laboratorio experimental, motivaci\u00f3n por descubrir en el \u00e1mbito de la biolog\u00eda, constancia, rigor, compromiso y competitividad curricular para obtener financiaci\u00f3n complementaria para su doctorado. Un bonus ser\u00e1 la familiaridad y experiencia previa del candidato con las t\u00e9cnicas experimentales que potencialmente se podr\u00edan usar durante el doctorado, conocimientos de programaci\u00f3n y sistemas de inteligencia artificial en el contexto de an\u00e1lisis de im\u00e1genes o bioqu\u00edmica estructural. Desde un punto de vista experimental, el laboratorio combina <em>Drosophila<\/em> y c\u00e9lulas de mam\u00edfero, gen\u00e9tica cl\u00e1sica e ingenier\u00eda gen\u00f3mica avanzada basada en CRISPR\/Cas9, bioqu\u00edmica convencional y sistemas de microscop\u00eda de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n, adem\u00e1s diversas herramientas bioinform\u00e1ticas.
