Its creation was approved and has the support of the CBM director. Its performance must be in accordance with the Equality Plans of the CSIC and the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Igualdad en el CBM 2024\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WndvFa7ObOw?feature=oembed\"  allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Our aim is to ensure and foster the practice of the equal opportunities policy in all its activities, without distinction of gender, race, ideology, age, affective-sexual orientation or religion.<\/p>\n<p>We will maintain close contact with the CSIC Equality and Women and Science Committees and with the UAM Gender Equality Unit. In particular, the network created an Escape Road activity where participants can learn about female scientists awarded with the Nobel prize or Abel and Fields medals. Our breastfeeding room is becoming more and more equipped and pleasant, and now has interesting readings about the benefits of breastfeeding, the possibility of donating milk, recommended bibliography and poetic and narrative texts.<\/p>\n<p>For other breastfeeding rooms in the UAM campus, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uam.es\/uam\/unidad-igualdad-genero\/noticias\/nuevas-salas-de-conciliacion-y-lactancia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt is very comfortable and pleasant. The equipment works so fast that the process is speedy. I find it very comfortable to do it here at work, and it makes it bearable and very useful for me, as someone who spends many hours away from home.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;I think the lactation room is amazing, and it&#8217;s taken a lot of stress away from me. I&#8217;ve made it to 6 months with exclusive breastfeeding, and I was worried about having to interrupt it to go back to work. A thousand thanks to all of you who have made it possible for there to be a room like this at the CBM. The truth is that it is priceless.
