Por tanto, se ha creado una demanda para el desarrollo de nuevas terapias para el tratamiento de este tipo de patolog\u00edas. La interleuquina 23 (IL-23) es una citoquina pro-inflamatoria cuya producci\u00f3n excesiva juega un papel fundamental en el desarrollo de numerosas enfermedades inflamatorias como la enfermedad de Crohn, colitis ulcerosa, esclerosis m\u00faltiple y psoriasis. Las consecuencias patol\u00f3gicas del exceso de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de IL-23 se han relacionado con su capacidad para promover funciones efectoras en poblaciones espec\u00edficas de linfocitos T: la subpoblaci\u00f3n CD4 tipo Th17 y las c\u00e9lulas TCR\u03b3\u03b4 tipo T\u03b3\u03b417. A pesar del importante papel descrito para IL-23 en enfermedades inflamatorias, los mecanismos moleculares mediante los cuales IL-23 promueve la actividad patog\u00e9nica de los linfocitos T son en gran medida desconocidos. El inter\u00e9s de nuestro laboratorio se centra en la caracterizaci\u00f3n de la cascada de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n de IL-23 mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n de t\u00e9cnicas novedosas como las aproximaciones prote\u00f3micas y fosfoprote\u00f3micas cuantitativas gran escala, para identificar nuevos mediadores de la acci\u00f3n de IL-23. El objetivo final de esta estrategia es el desarrollo de nuevas herramientas terap\u00e9uticas basadas en la interferencia con cascadas de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n intracelulares. Actualmente estamos caracterizando nuevos mediadores de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n que relacionan IL-23 con procesos como la migraci\u00f3n y el metabolismo celular. Nuestro trabajo se extiende m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la identificaci\u00f3n de dianas potenciales, combinando aproximaciones farmacol\u00f3gicas y gen\u00e9ticas para determinar la contribuci\u00f3n de mediadores de la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n espec\u00edficos en el desarrollo de enfermedades mediadas por IL-23 en modelos de rat\u00f3n.        <\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;2_5&#8243;
