global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span>En el genoma se almacena la informaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica de cada organismo. Esta informaci\u00f3n es necesaria para producir los componentes moleculares de un organismo que finalmente llevan a cabo la variedad de procesos necesarios para la divisi\u00f3n y el crecimiento celular, la diferenciaci\u00f3n celular, interactuar con otras c\u00e9lulas y responder a se\u00f1ales y retos internos y externos, entre otros. Los equipos de nuestro programa se agrupan en dos Unidades de Investigaci\u00f3n (&#8220;Decodificaci\u00f3n del genoma&#8221; y &#8220;Mantenimiento e inestabilidad del genoma&#8221;) que se centran en la comprensi\u00f3n de los mecanismos moleculares implicados en estos procesos b\u00e1sicos y fundamentales que tienen lugar en todos los tipos celulares. Con este fin, utilizamos diversos sistemas modelo para descifrar los mecanismos de organizaci\u00f3n del genoma, replicaci\u00f3n y reparaci\u00f3n del ADN y la cromatina, transcripci\u00f3n del ARN, traducci\u00f3n del ARN, recambio de prote\u00ednas, as\u00ed como el ensamblaje de complejos macromoleculares y las interacciones que contribuyen a regular la organizaci\u00f3n y funci\u00f3n del genoma.
