Actualmente, m\u00e1s de 350 usuarios, tanto del CBM como de otras instituciones p\u00fablicas (centros de investigaci\u00f3n, hospitales) y privadas (empresas de biotecnolog\u00eda), se benefician de estos servicios. El SMOA tambi\u00e9n suministra <strong>reactivos relacionados con la microscop\u00eda<\/strong>, como anticuerpos, sondas, colorantes, medios de montaje o soportes para imagen.<\/p>\n<p>  <\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el personal t\u00e9cnico del SMOA se mantiene informado sobre los \u00faltimos avances en microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica y lidera los esfuerzos para garantizar la adquisici\u00f3n de nuevos equipos, asegurando que la instalaci\u00f3n se mantiene a la vanguardia de la innovaci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica, al tiempo que satisface las necesidades experimentales de sus usuarios. Fruto de este esfuerzo, el SMOA ofrece una amplia gama de equipos de \u00faltima generaci\u00f3n dise\u00f1ados para abordar una gran variedad de t\u00e9cnicas de microscop\u00eda \u00f3ptica: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Seis sistemas de campo ancho<\/strong> ideales para estudios en muestras vivas y fijadas, que permiten una alta velocidad y una excelente sensibilidad para im\u00e1genes de campo claro, contraste de fases, fluorescencia y color (inmunohistoqu\u00edmica).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Microscopios confocales de barrido de cinco puntos<\/strong>, que incluyen hasta seis l\u00edneas l\u00e1ser y la capacidad de realizar una amplia gama de experimentos de fotomanipulaci\u00f3n y adquisici\u00f3n espectral.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un sistema de microscop\u00eda confocal de disco giratorio<\/strong>, que mantiene la confocalidad a altas velocidades y cuenta con un m\u00f3dulo de <strong>reasignaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptica de fotones (SoRa) <\/strong>para mejorar la resoluci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un microscopio confocal de superresoluci\u00f3n (STED)<\/strong> basado en depleci\u00f3n l\u00e1ser, junto con un m\u00f3dulo de microscop\u00eda de <strong>fluorescencia-imagen de por vida (FLIM)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Un sistema de microscop\u00eda de l\u00e1mina de luz<\/strong>, dise\u00f1ado para adquisiciones tridimensionales r\u00e1pidas con fototoxicidad m\u00ednima.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el SMOA est\u00e1 equipado con un vibr\u00e1tomo para el corte de muestras, un sistema de microflu\u00eddica y perfusi\u00f3n controlada, una impresora 3D y tres estereomicroscopios: dos con luz blanca y adaptadores para c\u00e1maras digitales (ideales para la preparaci\u00f3n y manipulaci\u00f3n de muestras), y uno con luz fluorescente para observaciones rutinarias.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, el SMOA gestiona dos estaciones inform\u00e1ticas de alto rendimiento, equipadas con una amplia gama de software especializado (ImageJ\/Fiji, Huygens, Arivis, CellSense) para la visualizaci\u00f3n y el an\u00e1lisis de datos.<\/p>\n<p>El SMOA forma parte del nodo de EuroBioImaging Madrid Advanced Microscopy Center (MAdMiC), junto con el servicio de Biomedicina Precl\u00ednica del Centro de Biolog\u00eda Molecular Severo Ochoa (CBM) y los servicios de Microscop\u00eda \u00d3ptica Avanzada y de Microscop\u00eda Crioelectr\u00f3nica del Centro Nacional de Biotecnolog\u00eda (CNB).<\/p>\n<p>El SMOA tambi\u00e9n pertenece a la Red de Laboratorios e Infraestructuras (RedLab) de la Comunidad de Madrid (RLAB-004) y est\u00e1 integrada en la Red Espa\u00f1ola de Microscop\u00eda \u00d3ptica Avanzada (REMOA).
