Job Description

We are seeking an R&D Manager and Lab Manager (50%) to support the coordination, financial management, dissemination activities, and daily laboratory operations of a national research consortium. Possibility to transition to a full-time position based on demonstrated performance and skills.

Main Responsibilities

Project Management

– Coordinate consortium activities

– Manage the project at national and EU level

– Identify and support funding opportunities

Monitoring & Dissemination

– Track members and activities (Quadrivium platform)

– Monitor scientific milestones and objectives

– Organize events and outreach activities

– Manage communication and dissemination

Financial & Administrative Management

– Handle invoices, payroll coordination, contracts, and documentation

– Prepare financial justifications of project expenses

– Support presentation and dissemination of research results

Laboratory Management

– Oversee daily lab operations

– Maintain equipment and supplies

– Coordinate with vendors and core facilities

Requirements

– Degree in Life Sciences or related field

– Experience in research project management (national/EU projects)

– Experience with financial reporting and administrative procedures

– Strong organizational skills

– Fluency in Spanish and English
